This morning i was talking to a good-sized library group about library cafes, food in libraries. For the first time i can remember, no one said something like this: "Ve must educate these people to behave better in libraries! Follow the rules!" The whole concept of basing services on what the user wants from the user's point of view is finally sinking in. I think library people have been preparing for this leap, and it's finally reaching everywhere. Hurrah! That's my view when I'm feeling positive about these things!
